3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) and other 3D printing companies are on watch Monday after a recent presentation from an IBM (NYSE: IBM) executive shows that the tech behemoth has put the technology on its radar.
According to an article at 3D Printing Industry.com, IBM's Vice President & Global Industry Leader of Electronic, Paul Brody, discussed 3D printing as one of three technological changes that will transform manufacturing as we know it in a recent keynote at the Siemens Global Innovation Summit.
Shares of 3D Systems are up 1.2 percent, Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSYS) is up 0.8 percent and The ExOne Company (NASDAQ: XONE) is flat.
