While Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) and Apple, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) may have seen shares pressured in 2012, there's one question that still remains: which one had the better CEO?
Glassdoor.com is out with new data Friday and the answer might be (a little) startling. The website said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg topped Apple's Tim Cook for the top spot.
Data comes from about 500,000 reviews submitted between February 25, 2013, and February 24, 2013.
Zuckerberg saw his approval rating rise 14 points to 99 percent, while Cook's rating slipped four points to 93 percent, putting him in 18th spot.
Taking the second spot were SAP’s (NYSE: SAP) Bill McDermott & Jim Hagemann Snabe. Other notable moves were Amazon's (Nasdaq: AMZN) Jeff Bezos gaining 13 points for 93 percent and 16th spot; salesforce.com's (NYSE: CRM) Marc Benioff rising two points to 94 percent and 13th spot, and Dell's (Nasdaq: DELL) Michael Dell gaining nine points to 81 percent and 49th position.
Overall, though, the survey might put to rest whether Zuckerberg is fit to lead Facebook and a top 500 company. Though some criticism was raised following Facebook's IPO last May, shares showed resilience later in 2012, though 2013 has seen some ups and downs.
In early trading, Facebook is down about half-a-point to $26.91.
