Macau Revs Growth Accelerates in Feb. 13, Though Lower Y/Y (LVS) (MGM) (WYNN)

Gaming revenue in Macau rose by 11.5 percent during the month of February 2013, coming in at about half of what was realized in the same period last year.
According to the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau of Macau, revs were 27.084 billion pataca, from 26.864 billion pataca in the month of January 2013. February 2012 revs increased 22.3 percent to 24.286 billion pataca.
Cumulative revs in 2013 are up 9.4 percent to 53.948 billion pataca, from cumulative gains of 28.3 percent to 49.325 billion pataca in 2013 through February.
Traders will be keeping an eye on names like Melco Crown (Nasdaq: MPEL), Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS), Wynn Resorts (Nasdaq: WYNN), and MGM Resorts (NYSE: MGM) into the open Friday.
