February 15, 2013 7:13 AM EST
Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) will be seeing a new distribution channel with the largest office supply retailer in the U.S.

Staples (Nasdaq: SPLS) SVP Regis Muldot posted a message on his Twitter account that Apple products will hit shelves in U.S. locations following a debut in Canadian locations. The tweet, which has since been deleted, did not specify a time frame of when the products would hit or which products would be on shelves.

Apple and Staples are both higher into the open.
