Carly Fiorina Said HP (HPQ) Considered Break-Up During Her Tenure

On CNBC, commenting on recent speculation, former Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) CEO Carly Fiorina said the board considered a break-up when she was there. On if a break-up would be the right move, Fiorina said all alternative should be considered.

With rival Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) recently taken private, focus has turned to HP's next move.

Shares of HP last traded at $16.69, up 0.5%. The stock is up 17% YTD.
