This morning Spirit Airlines (Nasdaq: SAVE) reported its preliminary traffic results and updated guidance for December 2012.
Commenting on developments, analyst Bob McAdoo said "The company had previously expected a $30-35mn drag on revenue from Hurricane Sandy. The company now estimates fourth quarter revenue was hurt by only $25mn as a result of stronger December bookings. We believe this upward revenue revision is yet another data point indicating strengthening underlying demand."
Imperial Capital reiterated an Outperform rating on Spirit Airlines with a price target of $22.00.
