Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings (NASDAQ: ENDP) shares are lower in late trading following announcement of a "CEO Transition Plan."
Here's the plan:
1. CEO David P. Holveck is retiring;
2. That's all.
Endo said it wouldn't conduct a search, evaluating both internal and external candidates. The entire thing has the feeling of what Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) pulled a few weeks back, except that Holveck, age 67, shouldn't have been a surprise to investors.
Shares are down 2.5 percent late Wednesday.
