Valley National Bancorp (NYSE: VLY) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.1625 per share, or $0.65 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on January 2, 2013, to stockholders of record on December 14, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of December 12, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 6.9 percent.
