Identive Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: INVE) 10% HIGHER; selected by a U.S. federal agency within the Department of Homeland Security to implement its Hirsch-branded access control and security management systems at the agency's more than 200 locations nationwide. Sina's (Nasdaq: SINA) 8% HIGHER; Alibaba Group is planning to take a stake in Sina'a Weibo, China's version of Twitter, according to reports out of Reuters. Sources say the agreement is in the final stages, and values Sina Weibo at around $3 billion. Alibaba plans to take a 15 to 20 percent stake in the company.
Lowe's Cos. (NYSE: LOW) 6% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.40, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $12.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.9 billion. Comps up 1.8%, versus expectations of 0.8%. Lowe's reaffirmed FY2012 EPS guidance.
Tyson Foods Inc. (NYSE: TSN) 5% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.55, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.37 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.49 million
Complete Genomics, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNOM) 4% HIGHER; Illumina (Nasdaq: ILMN) was second bidder
