Notable 52-Week Highs and Lows of the Day 11/07: (THC) (CYH) (GGC) High; (INTC) (KWK) (AES) Low

This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:

• Tenet Healthcare Corp. (NYSE: THC) $27.56. Ahead of the bell Wednesday, Tenet topped Q3 EPS views by 3 cents per share, though revs of $2.22 billion were a little light. Many are pushing the stock higher from an Obama win, with healthcare providers set to benefit from new regulation.
  
  
• Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CYH) high of $32.70. Also seen benefiting from the Affordable Care Act, passed earlier this year.
  
  
• Georgia Gulf Corp. (NYSE: GGC) high of $41.41. Georgia Gulf topped Q3 profit estimates by 20 cents per share. Like Tenet above, revenue in the quarter was also lighter than expectations.
  
  
• Lamar Advertising Co (Nasdaq: LAMR) high of $41.17. Despite missing Q3 EPS views, Lamar sees Q4 sales of $298 million to $301 million, versus the consensus of $297.8 million. Shares up 3.8 percent on the session.

52-Week Low:

• Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) low of $20.90. Intel is lower as Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) sees some unusual pressure following the Presidential election Tuesday. Earlier in the week, Apple said it might explore using its own chips in upcoming devices, though it has no plans to do so in the near term.
  
  
• Quicksilver Resources (NYSE: KWK) low of $2.88. Quicksilver continuing lower from a 9.5 percent drop Tuesday following quarterly results. CLSA downgraded the stock to Underperform this morning. Shares showing volume below the $3 support level.
  
  
• AES Corp. (NYSE: AES) low of $10.14. AES reported earnings earlier this morning. Results were mixed and guidance was reaffirmed. The company said it plans additional cost savings of $45 million.
  
  
• Plexus Corp. (Nasdaq: PLXS) low of $19.65. Plexus slammed after saying Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE: JNPR) disengaged the company as a supplier. Shares fell 29.7 percent to the new mark Wednesday.
