Orexigen Therapeutics (Nasdaq: OREX) peers VIVUS (Nasdaq: VVUS) and Arena Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ARNA) are active in early trading Monday following Orexigen receiving a formal dispute resolution request (FDRR) from the FDA Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER).
According to the release: "[t]he response indicates that CDER highly supports further discussions regarding a faster path to resubmission of the Contrave (naltrexone SR / bupropion SR) New Drug Application (NDA)."

Shares of VIVUS are slightly lower Monday, whle Orexigen and Arena shares are ticking higher.
