Production Issues Will Delay American Airlines Delivery of Boeing (BA) 787-9

According to reports out today, American Airlines (OTCBB: AAMRQ) said Boeing (NYSE: BA) will not be able to deliver its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on time due to “production issues.” American Airlines was expecting delivery of the first 787-9 2014, and has ordered a total of 42 of the new aircraft.
In September Boeing said Air New Zealand, the first airline to receive delivery of the 787-9, will be delivered in 2014.
