Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) wants to keep you safe...make that, more safe than before.
Several press releases were released Tuesday afternoon announcing new partnerships between Facebook and several notable Internet security providers. The partners include: AVG Technology (NYSE: AVG), Kaspersky Lab, and Webroot.
Of course, the releases also noted that there are plenty of other products they offer to enhance total PC security, but that had to have been expected.
With over 1 billion users worldwide, Facebook could use all the security partners it can get.
Shares of Facebook are down 0.2 percent Tuesday afternoon amid the announcements.
