Here's one great reason to give ol' Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) a second look: it's becoming more like Google (Nasdaq: GOOG).
According to AllThingsD, which highlighted another management change today, new Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer is looking to draw Henrique De Castro away from her former employer.
De Castro is a top ad exec at Google. Mayer tried to woo De Castro before, but he declined the first attempt. Things might be different now, given that Mayer is potentially offering him the COO position or a leading role in Yahoo!'s ad and media units.
Other Googler's include Michael Barrett and Mayer has been looking to tap other talent like Katie Stanton, who was a former co-worker at Google before leaving for Twitter.
Shares of Yahoo! are down 1.2 percent on the session Monday.
