Vringo (VRNG) Courtroom Twists Continue in Google (GOOG) Settlement

The courtroom twists and turns in Vringo's (NASDAQ: VRNG) settlement case with Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) continue. In addition to a docket update on 10/09 that Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) was ordered to produce addition a data on revenue for its properties based in the United States, now the case is being reassigned to another judge.
There was an order directing the clerk to "assign any matters which arise in the case to an alternative United States Magistrate Judge due to the undersigned U.S. Magistrate Judge having conducted a settlement conference and discussions in this matter. Because of the nature of this settlement discussions the undersigned cannot preside over any contested issues in this case."
Magistrate Judge Lawrence R. Leonard is no longer assigned to the case and it has been reassigned to Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Miller.
Shares of VRNG are up 3.8 percent into the close.
