Amarin (AMRN) Drops Most in 7 Months as FDA Makes No Determination on Vascepa

Amarin Corp Plc (Nasdaq: AMRN) has fallen as much as 14.6 percent Wednesday following an 8-K filing earlier updating the FDA's status on Vascepa. The drop is the largest Amarin shares have seen in about seven months.
From the filing: "Based on information available to Amarin as of the filing of this report, including communication with the FDA on October 9, 2012, the FDA has not yet made a determination with respect to regulatory exclusivity for Vascepa."

Shares are off of session lows, but still down around 10.4 percent. This is the lowest Amarin's been since last June.
