Peregrine Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: PPHM) 49.1% HIGHER; bouncing higher after slipping 85 percent Monday following news of a coding error tied to its randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled Phase II trial of bavituximab in second-line non-small cell lung cancer.
Gevo, Inc. (Nasdaq: GEVO) 34.1% LOWER; announced the start-up of its Luverne, Minn., bio-isobutanol production facility. Over the past 17 weeks, Gevo has successfully produced and shipped commercial-quality product in railcars for customers. CEO Patrick Gruber said, "Early indications are that, while we are making significant progress towards economic production levels, we will not achieve our desired year-end run rate – instead we would expect to achieve that during 2013." The stock was downgraded at Cowen and ThinkEquity today.
Merrimack Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: MACK) 19.2% LOWER; pulling back after running higher for nine of the last 10 sessions.

The tenders awarded to Sinovac in Beijing and Shanghai are valued at approximately 20 million RMB and 13 million RMB, respectively.
