iPhone 5 Teardown Confirms Skyworks (SWKS) Content, UBS Says Buy

Based on an early teardown, Skyworks (Nasdaq: SWKS) content in the iPhone 5 is roughly around $3 to $3.25 and comprises of 2 power amplifiers duplexers and GPS LNA and WiFi PA, according to reports.

UBS analysts believe the weaker than expected guidance for the CQ3 and Q4 is likely driven by weakness in non- Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) Samsung OEMS.

"We believe the longer term secular trends for the company remain intact and the current weakness is a buying opportunity," said an analyst.

UBS has a Buy rating on Skyworks Solutions (NASDAQ: SWKS). They lowered thier price target to $33.00 (from $36.00).
