As Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone 5 goes on sale today, suppliers for the device are seeing a nice pop on the session.
Chips included in the device come from companies like TriQuint Semi (Nasdaq: TQNT), Skyworks Solutions (Nasdaq: SWKS), Avago Tech (Nasdaq: AVGO), Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM), STMicro (NYSE: STM), Broadcom (Nasdaq: BRCM)< Cirrus (Nasdaq: CRUS), and OmniVision Tech (Nasdaq: OVTI).
Though OmniVision wasn't included in a recent teardown of the iPhone 5 from iFixit, a JPMorgan note put it on a list of companies to benefit from the device.
Shares of Apple are up 0.6 percent.
