Analyst at Deutsche Bank reiterated their Buy rating on General Mills (NYSE: GIS) and raised their price target to $46 (from $44).

Analyst Eric Katzman said “we continue to recommend General Mills on the basis of its leading share in key U.S. categories, productivity, growing intl exposure, under-valued JVs, solid B/S, and well respected mgmt team.”

General Mills’ results came in above internal expectations, largely due to Intl strength. While mgmt declined to raise F2013 EPS est., Katzman is forecasting better trends.

“Many investors remain wary of a volume rebound, but we have confidence in new products, better U.S. yogurt execution, impressive Intl results and a low relative valuation,” he said.
