Nexxus Lighting, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXS) shares are ripping early following news late Wednesday that the company is getting a massive capital infusion.
According to a release from Nexxus, "an affiliate of Aston Capital, LLC, has agreed to invest $6 million in the Company through the purchase of convertible preferred stock to provide strategic, operational and financial expertise with the goal of enabling the Company's strategic growth and expansion."
Shares are up over 135 percent on the news Thursday.
