Deutsche Bank reiterates a 'Buy' on Five Below (NASDAQ: FIVE) price target of $40.00.

Deutsche analyst said, "While it will be debated if the quarter was "enough" with the stock at current levels, we think the combination of: (1) very strong SSS of 8.6% (93% traffic driven; all 8 worlds/geographies/store classes consistent); (2) solid NSP of ~91%; (3) EBIT margin growth of 100 bps YOY to 7.2% (ex. 1x items), and (4) a $0.03 EPS beat – was very respectable."

"Equally, if not more important, the company’s guidance for 3Q implies a strong
start (we think 7-8% comps) and guidance for 4Q (FIVE generates ~40% of sales)
of ~4% should be more than achievable."

Deutsche Bank sees Q3 EPS at $0.01 and raises Q4 to $0.38.
