Kratos (KTOS) Gets $10.5M Task Order from Army Under MAC TSER Contract

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today it has been awarded a $10.5 million task order under its $100 million U.S. Army Multiple Award Prime Contract (MAC) for Theoretical Studies and Engineering Research (TSER). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Detachment White Sands (NSWC PHD Det WS) utilizes the TSER contract to support various national security related customers, including the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Program.
The Aegis BMD system is designed to defend against foreign and adversarial missile threats during the mid-course phase of flight. Under this task order award, the Rocket Support Services (RSS) Business Unit of Kratos will provide sub-orbital rocket vehicle related hardware, certain other specialized products, engineering, technical services and launch support for a series of Ballistic Missile Defense related missions planned over the next two years.
