Pandora Media (P) Says Active Listeners Up 48% in August; LHours Rose 70%

Pandora Media (NYSE: P) announced today new metrics that were reached in the month of August 2012.

• Listener hours for Pandora during the month of August 2012 were 1.16 billion, an increase of 70% from 682 million during the same period last year.
  
  
• Share of total U.S. radio listening for Pandora in August 2012 was 6.30%, an increase from 3.67% at the same time last year.
  
  
• Active listeners were 56.2 million at the end of August 2012, an increase of 48% from 38 million during the same time period last year.
