Oppenheimer maintains an 'Outperform' on Verint Systems (NASDAQ: VRNT) price target of $45.00.
Analyst, Shaul Eyal, said, "VRNT beat the consensus revenue and EPS and tweaked full-year guidance slightly lower based on FX headwinds and European softness on the security/government front. We believe investors should view VRNT as a play on "big data" as the company's analytics products are accelerating. Historically VRNT has enabled the analysis of vast amounts of structured/unstructured data, enabling users to generate ROI by capturing and analyzing relevant information. VRNT remains one of our top picks, and we remain aggressive buyers as it nears the separation from parent Comverse Technology (Nasdaq: CMVT)."
FY12 EPS estimate lowered from $2.63 to $2.56 and FY13 from $3.00 to $2.97.
