Needham & Company maintains a 'Buy' on AOL, Inc. (NYSE: AOL) price target of $40.00 (from $34.00).

Analyst, Laura Martin, said, "Analyst, Laura Martin, said, "We are raising our target price for AOL to $40 owing to several catalysts: 1. Lower discount rate. 2. Hidden asset value. We continue to see hidden asset value (like patents) at AOL owing to its $2B NOL's that it could sell for cash. 3. Operating momentum is strong. AOL has over-delivered earnings estimates in 2 of the past 4 quarters. 4. Access revenue declines are moderating. Churn in the access business is now down to 2% per month. In fact, it is no longer an access business since only 10% of segment revenue is from access. The other 90% is segment revenue from a bundle of services like computer service and security. 5. Patch should be a catalyst in 2H13 or 1H14. 6. Within display, AOL is migrating its advertising inventory toward premium price points."
