Sterne Agee maintains a 'Buy' on Lululemon Athletica Inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) price target of $85.00.
Analyst, Ben Shamsian, said, "We expect EPS of $0.30 vs. guidance of $0.28-$0.30 and FC estimates of $0.31. We are forecasting SSS of +12% vs. guidance of +LDD. We believe SSS may exceed our estimates. We expect GM% to decline 300bps reflecting higher product costs and more normalized markdown, which is in line with guidance. We are forecasting SG&A to delever 50bps, primarily reflecting investments in supply chain and infrastructure."
"Athleta (NYSE: GPS) provides a lower level of service and community involvement than LULU. Prices are lower at Athleta, but product is less innovative. LULU's speed to market remains an advantage."
