Barclays upgraded WPX Energy (NYSE: WPX) from Equalweight to Overweight with a price target of $18.00.
Analyst, Thomas R. Driscoll, said, "WPX shares have been very weak of late and we now see 18% upside to our $18 target from current levels. A recent Bakken transaction has highlighted very strong values for Bakken assets and should help overcome concerns related to current high drilling costs."
