Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ: GILD) price target of $65.00.

Analyst, C. Anthony Butler, said, "STRIBILD (previously known as QUAD) has been approved by the US FDA for the treatment of HIV in patient's naïve to ART-therapy; paves way for the first integrase inhibitor (INI) fixed-dose combination (FDC).

All in, Butler expects robust sales as Gilead has strong experience in the HIV market. Sales reps call on approximately 8,700 HIV specialists in the U.S., but the majority of the scripts are written by about 200 physicians.

According to Barclays, there are currently 1.3 million people infected with HIV in the U.S and approximately 45-50k new cases every year. Butler thinks STRIBILD could reach 15% in market share which equates to approx. $2.5B in sales.
