Barclays on North American Fertilizers and Agriculture: The Korn Crop
Analyst, Matthew J. Korn, believes that stocks in this sector can move significantly on interpretations of news/data flow week-to-week and month-to-month (citing developments in demand, pricing, trading, and corporate activity.
Over the past week, Barclays has heard more chatter on the level of discourse between Agrium (NYSE: AGU) and Jana Partners.
BHP (NYSE: BHP): debate on its proposed Jansen potash mine will continue and as long as the market sees construction as possible, it will remain an overhang on shares of potash producers.
