Clear your calendars.

Apple, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) shares are just coming off of record highs Tuesday, as sentiment continues building into September.

Why September? Because, Apple will be holding an event on September 12th. Speculation has surrounded that Apple will be debuting its latest iPhone, though nothing from the company has surfaced yet.

Today, German carrier Mobilecom Debitel has all but affirmed the news, according to reports from 9to5mac.com. An emailed newsletter shows a blurred photo of an iPhone outline with the loosely-translated words "In September, it's finally time for a new generation of smartphone to go on sale."

So, the next-gen iPhone will start selling in September. Can't come soon enough. Shares of Apple are are up about 0.9 percent.
