Nordson Corp (NASDAQ: NDSN) 15% HIGHER ; reported Q3 EPS of $1.06, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.99. Revenue for the quarter came in at $379.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $358.45 million. Nordson Corp sees Q4 2012 EPS of $0.96-1.04, versus the consensus of $0.95. Nordson Corp sees Q4 2012 revenue of $408-422 million, versus the consensus of $394.5 million.
Urban Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ: URBN) 14% HIGHER ; reported Q2 EPS of $0.42, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $676.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $671.6 million.
ImmunoCellular Therapeutics, Ltd. (AMEX: IMUC) 13% LOWER; appointed John S. Yu, MD, as Interim Chief Executive Officer and President, and has accepted the resignation of Manish Singh, PhD, effective immediately.
DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq: DWA)
5% HIGHER ; has entered into a new five-year distribution agreement with Twentieth Century Fox. Under the terms of the agreement, Fox will assume certain marketing and distribution responsibilities in both domestic and international markets for all animated feature films produced by DreamWorks Animation for release in 2013 through 2017.
Fabrinet (NYSE: FN) 5% HIGHER ; reported Q4 EPS of $0.31, versus $0.50 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $142.8 million, versus $190.3 million reported last year. Fabrinet sees Q1 2013 EPS of $0.30-0.32. Fabrinet sees Q1 2013 revenue of $145-149 million.
VirnetX Holding Corp. (NYSE: VHC) 3% LOWER; lost a bid to revive its patent case against Apple. The ITC stated the judge in the case found that SAIC had ownership rights and should have been a party.
Church & Dwight (NYSE: CHD) 1% HIGHER ; entered an agreement to acquire Avid Health for $650 million. The company also affirmed FY12 EPS expectations and guided FY13 EPS expectations above consensus views.
