at 01:18 PM Nordson's business not well understoon While I respect Jim Cramer's opinions, I have to question his research on Nordson. He absurdly called Nordson an adhesives company. To say so is like saying that GM and Ford are gas companies. Further his assertion that NDSN is highly levered to autos and SUVs inparticular is extremely weak. It's automotive business constitutes less than 10% of sales and is not targeted to any particular type of vehicle. This article's comparison of NDSN to CROX is a croc. CROX is a one trick pony, while NDSN is diversified in products, markets, and geography. Jim may be right that the momentum traders feel scorned and the downside move is not over, but the weak dollar's boost to earnings of the last few quarters was well known. So now that the dollar is strengthening again, are we to understand that these smart analyst did not see the adverse effect on earnings until now? Cramer and other analysts should have done there homework before slamming the credibility of management. Finally, I'd love to learn how Jim Cramer's TheStreet.com justifies its price target on NDSN of $94.20 (as of Aug 24) while he calls for $40 on his show Mad Money.
