Most expect Akamai (Nasdaq: AKAM) to beat out Limelight Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: LLNW) for the AT&T (NYSE: T) CDN reseller contract, according to a new blog post from StreamingMediaBlog.com. But that's not the whole story...
The report also said multiple people are saying Akamai is guaranteeing AT&T at least $100 million in revenue, over a multi-year deal and some say it north of $100 million. Limelight was only guaranteeing revenue between $40-$50M.
Shares of AKAM are down 1.6 percent early Monday, possibly on word of the guarantees.
