Brean Murray Carret & Co. reiterates a 'Buy' on Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO) price target of $18.00 (from $21.00).
Analyst, Eric Beder, said, "We are cutting our FY13/FY14 EPS estimates to $0.94 (from $1.15) and $1.20 (from $1.50) are ARO met recently reduced Q2 EPS guidance and provided initial Q3 guidance below our and Street expectations, as competition in core basics remains intense. That said, we believe the company is continuing to do the right things in terms of getting the business turned, from reducing inventories, adding more fashion items to the mix; driving solid marketing programs and continuing to aggressively hold the line on expenses."
