Deutsche Bank maintains a 'Hold' on Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) price target of $54.00.

Analyst, Charles Grom, said, "Dollar Tree will report 2Q12 earnings on 8/16. We’re modeling 2Q EPS of $0.47 (+21% YOY), in-line with Consensus and at the high-end of guidance. Our forecast is based on a +5.0% comp. While DLTR shares are up +25.0% YTD vs. +11.4% S&P 500, we see limited near-term upside given: (1) valuation at ~17x our FY13 EPS (a premium to competitors), and (2) less EPS upside given macro/inflation uncertainty. Provided the less enticing risk/reward, we believe DLTR shares are fairly valued today."
