Goldman Sachs reiterated their Buy rating on Edwards Lifesciences (NYSE: EW). They have a 12-month price target of $118.00 on the stock.
Analyst David Roman said "The first two full quarters of the US THV launch provide an early indication of the potential for this technology. In addition, our conversations with management suggest that there is abundant patient,
hospital, and physician demand for THV. Management has actually
governed the launch to ensure appropriate training, as the company is highly focused on obtaining strong procedural success rates."
"Beyond the US THV launch, the company has a fairly extensive pipeline that should further build a moat around global share. Importantly, Edwards should have a second generation product on the US market before Medtronic enters in late CY2014. Lastly, we see the company’s P&L having significant upside, as our EPS estimates for 2013E and 2014E are 6% and 14% above consensus, respectively," added Roman.
