Ascendiant Capital initiates coverage on Echo Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ECTE) with a Buy. PT $2.00.
The firm is calling ECTE, "an intriguing continuous glucose monitor play."
"We anticipate that Echo will commence a 50 patient pivotal study of the Symphony device around the end of this year, intended to obtain the CE Mark for the device by the end of 2013. We would then expect the Company to conduct a subsequent pivotal study in the U.S. designed to achieve FDA approval, which we estimate could be secured in 2015."
