Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Scripps Networks Interactive (NYSE: SNI) price target of $53.00 (from $51.00).

Analyst, Michael Nathanson, said, "Yesterday, Scripps Networks posted 2Q EPS of $0.93, exceeding our and the Street’s estimates by $0.06. For the year, we are raising EPS estimates to $3.43 (vs. $3.36 prev.) driven by lower taxes (29% vs. 31% previously) and incorporating an accelerated pace for share repurchases of $1bn in 2012 (vs. $850mn prev.). However, we are actually decreasing our 2012E EBITDA growth to 8% (vs. 10% previously) to reflect higher 2H12 non-programming expenses. Flowing through these revisions for 2013, our EPS also rises by $0.07 to $3.92."
