Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Humana (NYSE: HUM) price target of $72.00 (from $93.00).

Analyst, Joshua R. Raskin, said, "Humana moved up its earnings report one week to announce that despite a better-than-expected 2Q12 result, there is a reduction in 2012 guidance. It is very rare in managed care to see a company report a "beat and cut." The main message of the quarter was that the retail segment (individual) Medicare Advantage membership was pressuring margins as cost trends were coming in higher than expected."

FY12 EPS estimate lowered from $7.48 to $7.20 and FY13 from $8.25 to $7.20.
