Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) and Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE: TWC) today announced they are teaming up in Maine to offer new and existing customers greater choice, value and convenience in their wireless and entertainment packages. Customers in Portland, Augusta, Bangor, Waterville, Brunswick, Auburn and Presque Isle can now purchase packages of Time Warner Cable video, Internet and voice services and Verizon Wireless smartphones and tablets from both companies and may be eligible to receive a Visa™ prepaid debit card valued up to $200.
Markets launching today include cities in Maine and Nebraska. This year, Time Warner Cable and Verizon Wireless began these joint marketing initiatives in cities in Alabama, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina and Wisconsin. Both companies expect to launch these packages and services in additional Time Warner Cable-served communities in the coming months.
