Verizon (VZ) Sold 2.7M iPhones in Q2, 2.9M Androids

Verizon (NYSE: VZ) said it sold 2.7 million iPhones in Q2, versus 3.2 million in Q1 and 4.2 million in Q4. The sequential drop was 16%. The company said 25 percent of iPhone customers were new to Verizon.
The company sold 2.9 million android phones in the quarter.
NOTE: Investors might not want to read to much into the numbers like they did last quarter, but Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) reports its own results on July 24th.
