Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Host Hotels (NYSE: HST) price target of $17.00.

Analyst, Harry C. Curtis, said, "Results support our outlook for improving group bookings. We expect 2013 RevPAR growth of 6.4%, in line with our 2012 estimate, and non-comp margin gains of~200bps. We see tailwinds, 2H12 benefits from lower taxes and interest expense. We expect HST to lower its renovation spending by 15% next year, which should reduce disruptions to portfolio performance, and could add 50-75bps to 2013 RevPAR. Following an in line 2Q, our 2H12 and 2013 FFO estimates are unchanged. Given its premium valuation and the potential for more upside elsewhere within our universe, we remain Neutral on HST."
