July 17, 2012 3:22 PM EDT
Green Mountain (Nasdaq: GMCR) just officially announced it will release results for its third quarter after the market closes on Wednesday, August 1st. The company said it will host a conference call at 5pm ET that day. Investors can tune into http://investor.gmcr.com/events.cfm to listen to a simulcast of the call.

While there is still obviously time for estimates to be revised ahead of the results, the Street is currently looking for Green Mountain to report quarterly earnings of 50 cents per share on sales of $873.83 million.

The stock has been under severe pressure recently, down more than 27 percent over just the last eight trading sessions. For bulls in the stock, hopefully traders are not already positioning themselves for the third-quarter results. With the stock marking a fresh 52-week low at $17.66 this morning, investors have got to wonder how much downside is left...
