UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on SCANA Corp (NYSE: SCG) price target of $49.00.
Analyst, Jim Von Riesemann, maintains his rating after SCG filed an application with the Public Service Commission of South Carolina (PSC) requesting a 6.61 percent overall increase in retail electric base rates.
In SCG's press release, Keller Kissam, SCE&G's president of retail operations, said the company has spend hundreds of millions on upgrades and improvements in electric transmission and distribution system. Kissam added SCG's property taxes also have increased by $16 million per year.
