Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE: BUD). PT EUR64.
Analyst, Ian Shackleton, said, "WSJ today reports in an unconfirmed article that Anheuser Busch could be close to buying the remainder of Mexico’s Grupo Modelo, for over USD 12bn. It was always a question of when ABI would be able to buy out the remaining shareholders in Modelo, rather than if, in our view. Impact on ABI would not be huge as the company would effectively only be buying half of Modelo for c. USD 14bn vs EV of over USD 140bn (deal would be equivalent to 1.5 years FCF)."
