Barclays Reiterates an 'Overweight' on Alliant Energy (LNT); Wisconsin Public Service Commission Approves Rate Plan Proposal

Barclays reiterates an 'Overweight' on Alliant Energy (NYSE: LNT) price target of $48.00 (from $46.00)

Analyst, Daniel Ford, said, "We view this as a win-win-win for consumers, regulators and LNT shareholders: This plan eliminates regulatory overhang and enables LNT to manage costs to achieve maximum return for shareholders. In Q2 earnings call, we look forward to more details on LNT's gas generation plan in Iowa."

Ford raises FY13 EPS estimate from $3.16 to $3.18. (Consensus is $3.10)
