UPDATE: LinkedIn (LNKD) Currently Investigating Possible Password Breach; Cannot Confirm Yet

Following reports earlier of a password breach at LinkedIn (NYSE: LNKD), the business-focused social media giant said it was looking into things.

According to a tweet made by its official Twitter accounts (@LinkedIn), the company said: "Our team is currently looking into reports of stolen passwords. Stay tuned for more."

So, tune your PC channels to LinkedIn's twitter account for current news on the situation. In the meantime, make sure to change your password for safety.

(UPDATE with the following tweet): "Our team continues to investigate, but at this time, we're still unable to confirm that any security breach has occurred. Stay tuned here."
