Shares of United Natural Foods (NASDAQ: UNFI) popped into positive territory Tuesday afternoon following a mid-day upgrade from Northland Securities' Christopher Krueger. After trading in the red for a portion of the intraday session, United Natural Foods shares are now up 1.1 percent to $50.80.
Krueger and Northland now rate shares of United Natural Foods an Outperform, up from Market Perform previously. The price target was raised from $42 to $58.
The boosted investment rating follows Q3 results and raised FY12 guidance from the company earlier.
