Jefferies commented on Elan Corp (NYSE: ELN) following the Jefferies 2012 Global Healthcare Conference, where CEO Kelly Martin presented.
The firm comments, "Investor interest in ELN is at an all time high with the imminent bapineuzumab Ph.3 Alzheimer's data -- one of the most important data events in the entire industry. ELN can't comment on Bapi, but reiterated its confidence in Tysabri growth (easily a >$3B product w/ 20% market share). Thus we continue to believe Bapi is upside to the valuation."
The firm maintained their Buy rating and price target of $20.00
